About The Practice Plan
The Practice Plan is a newsletter for embodied faith, practiced through coaching, teaching, parenting, and preaching—across every field of life.
I write and speak at the intersection of spiritual formation and lived practice, drawing from years as a public school educator and instructional coach, a contemplative soccer coach, an adoptive parent, and a guest preacher within my church community.
I believe faith is formed when ideas are put into real-life practice—repeated and often revised, embodied acts shaped by attention, intention, and love. In classrooms and on playing fields, in families and congregations, formation happens through small, faithful practices over time.
Here you’ll find:
spiritual disciplines and practices for everyday life
sermons and interviews rooted in lived theology
coaching metaphors and teaching from sport and education
reflections on parenting, adoption, and belonging
mentoring wisdom for those guiding others in leadership contexts
When you’re in spaces designed to shape others, the best gift you can give is your own transformed life.
The Practice Plan is faith in practice.
